| Cancer has affected so many families, including ours. In memory of our beloved brother, Peter Kiriakos, Austral Auto Electrics is proud to support life-changing cancer research through the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Pete was our Peteāan everyday bloke, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who was loved by so many. Then, without warning, he was diagnosed with bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma), a rare and aggressive cancer with very limited treatment options. We couldn't believe how quickly this cruel disease took him from us. The impact on our family has been profound, and not a day goes by that he isn't missed. To honour Pete's memory, Austral Auto Electrics will donate $50 from every air conditioning service completed on the first Saturday of each month, with every dollar going directly to the Garvan Institute to help fund vital cancer research. The Garvan Institute is helping advance research, improve treatments and bring hope to people and families affected by cancer. By supporting this important work, we hope to help create better treatment options, earlier detection and, ultimately, a future where families have more hope and more time with the people they love. If you'd like to support our fundraiser, simply scan the QR code to make a donation. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, goes directly to the Garvan Institute and helps fund life-changing cancer research. Thank you for helping us honour Pete's memory and support a future without cancer. |
